SACRAMENTO — A pesticide-tainted vaporizer was recalled by California cannabis officials on Tuesday. The Los Angeles Times investigation revealed that the state had been aware of harmful chemicals in legally supplied marijuana for months.
A September-produced West Coast Cure vape cartridge with the flavor “Orange Cookies” is the item that was ordered and taken off the market. The vape exceeded safety guidelines for one component, the pesticide chlorfenapyr, according to the state recall.
